His leadership ensures that Sumbahoneymoon Explorer maintains the highest standards of luxury, innovation, and ethical practice, deeply rooted in the Juara Holding Group’s ethos. He is a certified member of ASITA and a strong advocate for sustainable tourism development in Eastern Indonesia.

Maya Sari
Head Concierge & Sumba Experience Curator

Maya is the soul of our bespoke service. With a background in bespoke travel design for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and a deep personal connection to Sumba, she possesses an unparalleled understanding of the island’s nuances. Maya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Universitas Gadjah Mada and is a certified Luxury Travel Specialist. Her extensive network among Sumba’s elite resorts, local artisans, and cultural leaders allows her to craft truly exclusive and authentic experiences. Maya ensures every honeymoon itinerary is a unique reflection of the couple’s desires, from private ikat weaving workshops to secluded beach dinners. Bagus Pratama
Sumba Operations Manager

A native of East Nusa Tenggara, Bagus is our on-the-ground maestro, ensuring every logistical detail in Sumba runs flawlessly. With a diploma in Hospitality Operations from STP Nusa Dua Bali and years of experience managing high-end resort operations, Bagus is an expert in local logistics, safety protocols, and partner coordination. He works closely with local communities and service providers, from certified drivers to marine operators, to guarantee seamless transfers, excursions, and immediate support. Bagus is also a certified First Responder and ensures all our Sumba operations adhere to strict safety and compliance standards as outlined on our Safety & Compliance page.

Dewi Lestari
Sustainability & Community Impact Lead

Dewi is the conscience of Sumbahoneymoon Explorer. Holding a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB University), she spearheads our initiatives in sustainable tourism and community engagement. Dewi collaborates with local NGOs like the Sumba Foundation and WWF-Indonesia, developing programs that minimize environmental impact and maximize positive social contributions. She ensures our operations support local artisans, promote cultural preservation, and contribute to the well-being of Sumba’s communities, a commitment detailed on our Sustainability page.

Andi Susilo
Guest Relations & Quality Assurance

Andi is dedicated to ensuring every guest experience exceeds expectations. With a background in luxury hotel management and a keen eye for detail, he meticulously monitors service quality across all touchpoints, from resort stays to private excursions. Andi is responsible for gathering guest feedback, implementing improvements, and maintaining the impeccable standards that define Sumbahoneymoon Explorer. His proactive approach and commitment to guest satisfaction are integral to our reputation for excellence.
